Email to CM March 2025:
I am writing to you regarding Costermonger Stall No. 3, 1991 by Michael Landy, which is part of the Weltkunst Foundation Collection, and which until recently was on loan to the Irish Museum of Modern Art.The work features prominently on the cover Breaking the Mould, the IMMA catalogue of the Weltkunst collection.
As the Weltkunst Foundation is in the process of dissolution, it is currently conducting a deacquisition program of all the important British sculpture in its collection. There has been some interest in Costermonger Stall No. 3, but before proceeding further, we would like to discuss the matter with you.
Looking forward to hearing from you
Best wishes
