McQueen features himself in Catch , and the woman featured is McQueen s sister. The intention of the film was to capture a playful behavior of how the two used to play as children. McQueen wanted to create chaos on camera, and was intent on the piece allowing him to shake off all the things that were going on with his work at that time. there is less narrative to the piece, instead there is an organic progression of film, as the camera twists and turns, in an abstract representation of chaos.
